Helen Giles

Helen Wilkey Giles, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.  She was 87.

Helen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family who she loved and cherished.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Claude Giles; her parents, Jesse and Minnie Dotson Wilkey; and an infant sister, Nola; her brothers, Arnold and Clarence Wilkey.

Helen is survived by her four sons and their wives, Barney and Brenda Giles, Ray and Leona Giles, Danny and Pat Giles and Gary and Deana Giles; her three daughters and their husbands, Judy and Estill Richardson, Janie and John Holt and Sandy and David Duggan; brothers, Leonard and Emmitt Wilkey; sisters, Edith Revis, Wilma Dill and Mildred Stinnett; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, and 11 a.m.-12 p.m. on Friday, May 18, at the North Chapel.

Services for Helen will be held at noon on Friday at the North Chapel.  Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
