Army Veteran Retired From Caldsted Foundation After 35 Years

James "Bud" Creasman, 68, of Soddy Daisy, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Creasman was retired from Caldsted Foundation with 35 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Laura Creasman and two sisters, Betty Polland and Alberta Parker.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Sue Thompson Creasman, four sons, Daniel (Ella) Creasman, Soddy Daisy; Jeffrey Creasman, Chattanooga; Chris Creasman, Soddy Daisy; Russell Creasman, Hollywood, S.C.; daughter, Angela (Jose) Granados, grandson, Anthony Sneed, Hixson, granddaughters, Miranda Granados and Elizabeth Creasman, both of Soddy Daisy;Tina Smith, Red Bank; three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and longtime friends, Chuck Tanner and Bonnie Bodine.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, May 17, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with Reverend Carl Hunsucker officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with military honors.

Genella Hunt, 88, of Rossville, died on Friday, May 17, 2013 at a local health care facility.  Survivors include her husband, Donald C. Hunt, Jr.; four children; 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Services will be on June 1. A Chattanooga man was stabbed to death after an argument on Friday night.
