Hilliard, Barbara Ann Carr

Barbara Ann Carr Hilliard, 85, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, died on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. 

A native of Abilene, Texas, she had resided in the North Georgia area for the past four years. She was formerly of Goodlettsville, Tn. Barbara was a member of St. Gerard’s Catholic Church, DAR, Catoosa Senior Center and AARP. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hilliard; parents, Vernon and Edythe Moore Carr and brother, Vernon Carr II. 

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia H. Walker of Ringgold, Cecelia Moriarity of Seattle, Wa., and Barbara Hilliard of Florida, sister, June Coates of Lakewood, Co., five grandchildren, Megan Wyre, Turner Walker, Rebecca McNally, Patrick Lee and Sean Moriarity, five great-grandchildren, Winston Wyre, Nicolas Wyre, Davis Wyre, Alexis Roy and Ross McNally, several nieces and nephews. 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. 

Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
