Nancy Karen Kaylor, 64, of Cleveland, Tn., died Tuesday morning, May 15, 2012 at the family residence.
Nancy was a lifelong resident of Bradley County and she was preceded in death by her father, Harvel “Red” Saffels . She was retired from Rubbermaid. Nancy was a member of the Covenant Baptist Church where she was very active, teaching Sunday School and Bible School. She loved God, her Church and her family.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce Danny “Blackie” Kaylor of Cleveland; her son, Jessie Kaylor and his wife Amy of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Shelby and Erica Kaylor; her mother, Nellie Saffels of Cleveland; her special friend Betty; and her Sunday school children.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, May 19 at 11 a.m. from the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Reverend Gary Higgins and Reverend Beecher White officiating. Interment will follow in the Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery with David Baxter, James Hope, Mitch Baxter, Nicky Herron, Jessie Kaylor and Kris Kaylor serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Tilley, Jason Cooley and Tamera Yarber.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday, May 18 at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who has charge of the arrangements.
