Lucy Anna Depew, 97, of Ringgold, Georgia, formerly of Johnson City, Tennessee, died on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
Mrs. Depew was a lifelong resident of Johnson City and was retired from Smith Nursing Home as an R.N. She was a member of the Liberty Church of The Brethren and was a “workaholic.” Mrs. Depew’s passions in life were gardening, canning, and taking care of others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Depew, children, Noah Paul Isenberg, Mildred Little, and Clarence Paul Isenberg, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her children, Una Marie Bradley, Rossville, and Jackie Anna McPherson, Telford, Tn.; granddaughter and caregiver, Stella Hayes, Ringgold; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, from 4–8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
Mrs. Depew will be taken to Gray Funeral Home in Gray, Tn., for visitation on Tuesday, May 22. from 4–8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, at 11 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
