Mary “Glenda” Scott, 61, of LaFayette, died on Friday, May 18, 2012.
Glenda was a member of the Fairview South Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Lawson, and brother, Lester Lawson.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Scott; father, Lee Lawson; daughter, Renea and husband, John Randall Dearing; son, Donald Ray Jr. “Tad” and wife, Tamara Price Scott, all of LaFayette; sister, Barbara Carter, of Summerville; brothers, Bobby Lawson, Kenneth Lawson, both of LaFayette, and Thomas Lawson, of Soddy Daisy, Tn.; grandchildren, Hannah Dearing, Olivia Dearing, Chandler Scott, and Austin Dearing; three nieces and six nephews.
Funeral services will be at Fairview South Baptist Church on Monday, May 21, at 2 p.m., conducted by Reverend Lowell Cantrell, Reverend Garland Hullender, and Reverend Bud Marteen.
Interment will be in the Fairview South Baptist Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 20, from 5-8 p.m.
