Betty Manning Boggess, 81, of East Ridge, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.

She was born January 30, 1931 in Scottsboro, Alabama to the late John Howard and Josephine Stanley.

Survivors include her sons, Charles A Manning and Richard A. Manning; sister, Lois Peacock; grandchildren, Mark Manning, Spencer Manning, Chase Manning, Shana Manning and Carlie Manning.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday May 7, in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Father Nathan Brooks officiating.

The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home Sunday from 5-7 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.
