Legenza, Walter H. (Cleveland)

Walter H. Legenza, 75, of Cleveland, died Monday, April 30, 2012 in a local hospital.

He worked for Federal Sign and Signal in Chicago for 33 years. He was baptized and confirmed Catholic. Mr. Legenza enjoyed sports, and was a member of Global Lottery Collector’s Society and Senior Circle at Skyridge Medical Center in Cleveland. He was a former resident of Oak Forest, Ill. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Novak (Walter) and Walter C. Legenza; sister, Mary Ann Legenza; and in-laws, Sharon Garrigan and Allan Wingard. 

He is survived by his wife, Judith Ann Legenza; siblings and spouses, Kathleen (Peter) Ellement, Wilma Wingard, Albert Wahl and Sherryl Pinson; god-son, Peter Ellement (Karen); nephew, William Pinson, U.S.A. Marine (Laura); and great-nieces and nephews, Nicole Ellement, Jennifer Ellement and James Pinson. 

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday May 4, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home concluding with a Rosary service at 8 p.m.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
