Responding to a burglary call, police said a man halfway in, halfway out of a house on Bailey Avenue.
Kenneth Stanton Reid, 57, is facing a charge of aggravated burglary. He was also booked on a prior charge of driving on a revoked license and for failure to appear in court on that charge.
Officers also found the resident, Timothy Hutchins, still on the line talking with a dispatcher.
He had called to report that someone he didn't know was trying to break into his home and had busted out a window.
An officer said, "Kenneth was half in and half out of the house and I could only see his lower body and heard him rustling things around inside."
He said Reid came down after being ordered to do so.
