Andy Berke announced Monday that he would be hosting a Coffee with Andy hour at the Highway 153 Starbucks on Tuesday, at 5 p.m. The event begins a series of coffees in different neighborhoods around Chattanooga.
He said, “Throughout my career I have hosted town hall meetings and attended neighborhood association events. By going to the neighborhoods, you make sure people have access to you and get a better picture of what is on the minds of Chattanooga citizens.”
Future Coffee with Andy events are planned for Brainerd, East Brainerd, Lookout Valley, and Downtown.
Senator Berke also announced that Molly Cooper would serve as volunteer coordinator for the upcoming mayoral campaign. “Since I announced that I would be a candidate for Mayor, we have had more than 300 people ask to volunteer. Molly will help me continue to build the grassroots structure across the city.”
