Elizabeth Grasham, 88, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at a local hospital.
She had lived most of her life in Subligna, Ga., where she was a member of the East Armurchee Baptist Church. She had lived in the Chattanooga area for 30 years where she had worked at Dot and Peg Seamstress Shop and attended Temple Baptist Church. Her passions in life were her church, family, sewing, cooking, and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Grasham; daughter, Sonya G. Hunt; brother, John Pettyjohn; and two sisters, Ethel Madden and Mena Fay Pettyjohn.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Susan Grasham of Rossville; sister, Maggie Hawkins of Canton, Ga.; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 24, at 11:30 a.m. at the Lakewood South Memory Gardens with Reverend T.D. Burgess officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
