Jason Hill Is New CFO For Barge, Waggoner, Sumner, And Cannon

Jason Hill, CPA, has joined engineering and architectural firm Barge, Waggoner, Sumner, and Cannon, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Hill has primary day-to-day responsibility for the firm’s financial systems and planning, accounting, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting and payroll operations.

Mr. Hill comes to Barge Waggoner with ten years of accounting experience.  Most recently, he was Finance and Administration Director for more than three years at Allen & Hoshall, a design firm based in Memphis. He also served on the firm’s Board of Directors. During this time, he was project manager for the Electrolux project and responsible for safeguarding the public investment in the project.  

Previously, Mr. Hill was associated with Ernst and Young for almost seven years, where he served as a senior auditor for FedEx, GTX and Pinnacle Airlines.

A native of Memphis, Hill received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (2001) and a Masters of Accounting (2002) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Mr. Hill replaces Tom Allen, the firm’s former CFO, who retired after working with Barge Waggoner for 26 years.
