Hancock, Bobby Dean Jr (Dayton)

Bobby Dean Hancock, Jr., 46, of Dayton, Tn., died Sunday, May 20, 2012 at his home. 

He was born February 13, 1966 in Chattanooga. He was a graduate of Rhea County High School, attended Sale Creek Church of God and was a twenty year veteran of the U.S. Navy. 

Bobby is survived by his wife,  Christy (Dobbs) Hancock of Dayton; his parents, Bobby Dean (Laura) Hancock, Sr. of Sale Creek, and Pat (Jerry) Bowen of Dayton; daughters, Jessica Hancock of Cookeville and Paige Hancock of Arlington, Va.; grandmother, Cora Hancock of Dayton; sister, Angie (Rick) Headlee of Dayton Mtn.; two step-sisters, Beth (Jeff) Keylon of Sale Creek and Becky (Jeff) Runyan of North Carolina; step-brother, Jason (Cathy) Gentry of Sale Creek; two step-daughters; one niece and one nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Funeral services for Bobby will be Tuesday, May 22 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Terry Bolton officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will be in Spivey Cemetery. 

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton.


Hensley, Sara Dunlap Hutchins (Cleveland)
