Shelton, Carla Rosetta (Spring City)

Carla Rosetta Shelton, 52, of Spring City, Tn., died Saturday, May 19, 2012 in Cleveland.

She was born December 23, 1959 in Rockwood to the late Kenneth and Shirley (Reed) Johnson; and was also preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda Johnson. 

Carla was a homemaker and was of the Church of God faith. 

She is survived by her husband, Keith Shelton of Spring City; son, Kenneth Shelton and daughter Samantha (David) Lemons, all of Spring City; three sisters, Kim Shelton of Graysville, Roxanne (Kevin) Collier of Evensville and Glenda (Kenny) Reed of Spring City; three grandchildren, Coty Lemons and Joseph Lemons of Spring City and Devon Shelton of New Orleans; and Corey Smith, whom she loved as a son. 

Funeral services for Carla will be Tuesday, May 22 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial, followed by a white dove release, will be in the Friendship Cemetery in Spring City. 

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton.


Heuser, Valetta Jean (Rock Spring)

Valetta Jean Heuser, 93, of Rock Spring, died on Monday, May 20, 2013 in a local hospital. Mrs. Heuser was a charter member of Ft.
