Jeanette Featherstone Hughley, 74, died on May 19, 2012 at Hospice of Chattanooga.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Featherstone; father, James Featherstone; brothers, James and Walter Featherstone; sisters, Dora and Claudette Featherstone, Clarice Young ; sister-in-law, Rosetta Featherstone; aunt, Ruby Atkinson.

Survivors include her spouse, Otha Hughley; son, Fernados Hughley; daughters, Jacqueline and Darlene Hughley; sisters, Charlotte Alderson, Delores Featherstone of Chattanooga; Fannie Cartwright of Detroit, MI; brothers, Sterling Featherstone, Stanley (Robbie) Featherstone and Nathaniel Featherstone of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Christine Featherstone; devoted cousin, Lauvern McBee; devoted niece, Mia Johnson; grandchildren, Nicole (Walter) Dozier of Chattanooga; great-grandchildren, Shynece, Rico and Marko Dozier.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 24, at noon at Second Baptist Church with Reverend Paul A. McDaniel officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

The body will lie in state after noon on Wednesday, May 23, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
