Mingle With Tingle Raises Funds For Partnership For Families

The DoubleTree by Hilton, Downtown is inviting the public to gather on June 1 for a free event to raise funds for Chattanooga Partnership for Families, Children & Adults. 

The fundraiser, called Mingle With Tingle will feature local celebrity Stratton Tingle as part of the Dancing with the Stars Chattanooga campaign. One of eight participants in the annual fundraising competition, Mr. Tingle will be dancing for Partnership’s Building Stable Lives program.

In addition to the opportunity to give back to the community, attendees at Mingle With Tingle will enjoy live music, a cash bar, chances to win prizes and appetizers prepared by The DoubleTree’s own chef and culinary team.  

The event will take place from 5-7 p.m., just prior to Nightfall. Parking is available for $5 at the DoubleTree, 407 Chestnut St.  Admission to the event is free, but donations will be accepted.

Widely recognized for his signature dreadlocks and effervescent personality, Stratton Tingle is one of Chattanooga’s foremost young professionals. Since graduating from Southern Adventist University in 2006, Mr. Tingle has held various positions in a number of fields and most recently landed a role as the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce’s newest account executive. In his spare time, Mr. Tingle serves as the lead singer and frontman for local music sensation Prophets & Kings. With his commitment to the community and love for the arts, Mr. Tingle said he’ll lean on his background in music and dance for a leg up in the Dancing with the Stars Chattanooga competition.

“I love to dance, especially for a good cause,” said Mr. Tingle. “I’m looking forward to supporting the community through this competition as friends and supporters gather together for great food, drinks and music before moving over to Nightfall.”

Chattanooga Partnership for Families, Children & Adults is a community impact organization whose mission is to strengthen families and individuals of all ages. Woman Found Dead On Lovell Road; Police Looking For Terry Releford

A woman was found dead on Sunday morning at 8912 Lovell Road, and police are seeking a "person of interest" in the case.
