Suzanne DeLoach Watson, of Ooltewah, passed away at home on May 22, 2012, after a lengthy illness.   

She was born Dec. 9, 1955 in Varnville, S.C.  Suzanne attended the College of Charleston, the Medical University of South Carolina, and Trident Technical College.  Suzanne was a realtor for 14 years in the greater Chattanooga area.  She was a Baptist.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her mother, Billie Brant DeLoach. 

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Rick; son, Jonathan Watson (Ooltewah); daughter, Rita Watson (Manhattan, N.Y.); daughter, Hannah Watson (Ooltewah); and grandson, Noah Watson (Ooltewah).  Also surviving are her father, Don C. DeLoach and his wife, Grace (Varnville, S.C.); brother, Curtis DeLoach and his wife Jen (Varnville, S.C.); mother-in-law, Willie Ruth Watson (Clinton, N.C.); many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.   

Suzanne dearly loved her husband, children, and family, and they will miss her.  A vibrant, outgoing, and friendly person, Suzanne enjoyed people and had many friends.  Her million-dollar smile and friendliness will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel.  

Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37415.

In addition to the local service, a memorial service also will be held later in Varnville, SC. 

Arrangements are by the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
