Norman, Raymond Virgil (Tunnel Hill)

Raymond Virgil Norman, 62, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, died on Monday, May 21, 2012. 

A resident of the Catoosa County area for the past 16 years, he was formerly of Ooltewah. He was former owner and operator of North Georgia Liquidators and was of the Baptist faith. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Edward Norman. 

He is survived by his wife, Maryann Cordell of Tunnel Hill, mother, Ruby Stevens Norman of Ooltewah, two daughters, Kathy Cordell and Candida Ray both of Tunnel Hill, sister, Debbie Harrell of Ooltewah, brother, Steve Edward Norman of Ringgold, four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, at Gordy Memorial Gardens with Brother Jimmy Powell officiating. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 23, from 3-9 p.m., and Thursday until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold.

Man Stabbed To Death After Argument

A Chattanooga man was stabbed to death after an argument on Friday night.
