Willard Grover Gazaway, 69, of Dalton, Ga., died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Emory University Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grover C. Gazaway; and one brother, Billy Gazaway.
Mr. Gazaway attended Cedar Valley Church of God.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Joan Gazaway; two sons and daughter-in-law, Gerald Gazaway and Brandon and Stephanie Gazaway all of Dalton; mother, Edna Gazaway of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred Gembler of Orlando, Fla., Hazel Pangle of Rocky Face, Shirley and Jesse Silvers of Dalton, Jewel and Charles Pilcher of Dalton and Linda and Marvin Howell of Cohutta; brothers and sisters-in-law, George Gazaway, Waymon and Eva Gazaway, Harold and Mary Lee Gazaway all of Dalton, Doyle and Kay Gazaway Cohutta, Larry and Sandra Gazaway of Dalton and Craig Gazaway of Cohutta; three grandchildren, Lauren and Erin Gazaway and Landon Gazaway; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Gazaway will be held Friday, May 25, at 3 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Tray Starnes and Rev. Clayton Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, May 24, from 6-9 p.m.
