Mayfield Cites Importance Of Small Business

Thursday, May 24, 2012

Third District candidate Scottie Mayfield addressed a Bank of America small business poll that asked small business owners nationwide what economic concerns they had about their business. The results of the poll showed 75 percent of business owners believe the effectiveness of U.S. government leadership to be of utmost concern.

“I continually hear from small business owners in the Third District who tell me they are fed up with government regulation, which stifles their business,” said Mr.

Mayfield. “This poll echoes what I hear from small business owners who tell me they are excited to have a business leader as a candidate for Congress, with a proven record of creating jobs.”

In conjunction with the poll, Bank of America released a small business report that said business owners believe owning a small business is three times more stressful than raising kids.

“Owning a business should be empowering, not full of stress and hardship,” said Mr. Mayfield.

He said his 40 years of business experience at Mayfield Dairy Farms make him the best candidate to help small business.  “You don’t just let anybody work on your car if it stops running, you let a trained mechanic work on it to get it going again,” said Mr. Mayfield. “Because of my business background, I know can help small business get back on track.”

Scandals At Home And Abroad

Since my hip operation and time in recovery, I have tried to set aside things that are insignificant to me and to average Americans. Don't get me wrong here. What these people are doing (Bengahzi) is despicable be they left or right wing, and they have been doing it (both sides) for a long time. But the dirty deeds themselves carry little weight as to what they mean to you or me. ... (click for more)
