The Chattanooga Market's fourth annual Beast Feast Bar-B-Que event was Sunday. With seven local Bar-B-Que experts, a large, hungry crowd of enthusiasts and live music, the day was warm and festive.
There were two categories of winners, Chef's Choice and Popular Vote. The winner of the Chef's Choice award, which was determined by the participating Bar-B-Que chefs, was awarded to Cornerstone Bar-B-Que with the second place winner being Choo Choo Bar-B-Que. Honorable mention went to both Porker's and Sweeney's restaurants. The Popular Vote was determined by number of sample cups sold by each Bar-B-Que participant. The winner for Popular Vote went to Choo Choo Bar-B-Que and first place went to Sweeney's.
This year's event held over 10,000 people on one of the hottest days of the season thus far. Despite the heat, officials said it was another successful year for the Chattanooga Market Beast Feast.
