Oneil Arrested For East Ridge Armed Robbery After Victim Spots Him Driving On Germantown Road

East Ridge Police arrested Robert Kyle Oneil, 24, of East Ridge on Wednesday at approximately 6:52 a.m.  and charged him with aggravated robbery. 

The arrest stems from a March 24 incident in which the victim stated he was robbed at gunpoint by two males at 3218 Gleason Dr.  

The victim called police on Wednesday morning saying he observed one of the suspects who had robbed him driving a Honda Civic on Germantown Road. The vehicle was observed entering the Ridge Terrace apartments at 915 S. Seminole Dr. Police found the vehicle and spotted two handguns inside the car. Police made contact with Oneil in apt. 24. He matched the description of the suspect from the March 24 incident.

 

Oneil was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and is scheduled to appear in East Ridge Municipal Court on Tuesday, May 15, at 5 p.m.
