East Hamilton Cruises Past Soddy-Daisy 7-1

The second ranked East Hamilton boys soccer team final got to play their regular season match with Soddy-Daisy on Thursday after two previous cancellations.

 The Hurricanes scored two early goals and went on to a 7-1 win.  

Goals were scored by Jose Orellana (2), Kyle Ford (2), Jalen Goddard (2), and Alex McCarney (1). Jose Orellana, Jalen Goddard, Kyle Gallups, and Daniel Duk all picked up assists.

Soddy-Daisy's Brandon Givens scored the Trojans lone goal in the final seconds of the match. 

East Hamilton has won 12 straight games after losing their opener to Notre Dame. 

East Hamilton will host a district 6-A/AA semifinal next Tuesday and Soddy-Daisy will open district 5-AAA play on Saturday in a quarterfinal.


McCallie Holding Slim Lead In D-II Track After Field Events

Kids And Pros Heads Up Clinic Focuses On Player Safety

McCallie School will host the Heads Up football clinic sponsored by the YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga on Saturday, June 1, from 12-3 p.m. This clinic is free to all players ages 7-13, and to all school and youth recreation football coaches.
