Patricia W. Trew, 82, of Ocoee, Tn., died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at her residence. 

She was a lifelong resident of McMinn and Polk County. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cleveland. She was a florist for many years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry A. Williams and Nelle Thomas Williams; and a grandson, Travis Lee Persing. 

She is survived by her husband, Willis A. Trew; daughters, Mary Carringer of Ocoee and Patricia Widmann and husband Don of Fruitland Park, Fla.; grandchildren, Shawn Marie Palic, Jason Alexander Goetzen and Bradley Willis Carringer; and great-grandchildren, Katrina Persing, Lacey Persing, Aubrie-Leigh Persing, Shayla Palic, Dakota Palic, Adam Persing, Jordan Goetzen. Jacey Gibson, Ellah Goetzen, Alex Goetzen, Shaylynne Carringer and Brianna Carringer. 

A graveside service will be held Sunday, June 3, at 3 p.m. at Jones Chapel Cemetery in Delano, Tn. with Jason Goetzen, Bradley Carringer, Wayne Martin, Johnathan Hodges, Jeff Hodges, Jordan Goetzen, and Steve Norwood serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. 

Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. 

The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and Home Health Care of East Tennessee and Hospice, 2765 Executive Park Dr. NW, Cleveland, TN 37312.

A woman was found dead on Sunday morning at 8912 Lovell Road, and police are seeking a "person of interest" in the case.
