Lois "Cooter" Johns, 86, of Georgetown, Tn., died Thursday, May 3, 2012 in a local hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Beulah E. Pruitt Campbell and Clarence Campbell; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ramsey Johns; her daughter, Linda Harris; her sisters, Rosie Mayberry and Sally Phillips; and her brothers, Grover Campbell and Ralph Campbell.
She was of the Church of God faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Ledford of Georgetown; her sister, Pauline Weathers of Charleston; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5 at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Russell Irvin officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with J.P. Bice, Denny Harris, Ronnie Bice, Rodney Ledford, Clint Ledford and Michael Harris serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 4 from 5-8 p.m. at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes who is in charge of the arrangements.
