Cheryl Ann Dodd Lusk, 57, of Flintstone, died on Friday, May 4, 2012.
She had lived in the North Georgia area since 1985 and was a member of Rossville Church of God. She was an L.P.N. for the Jimmy Simpson Foundation in Rock Spring, Ga., for more than 10 years and was a loving, mother, nurse and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include her parents, Osco and Louise Williams, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Dana and (Joshua) Shields; son and daughter-in-law, Jarod Dodd and (Shandi Hackler) all of Flintstone; stepson, Robert Lusk of Chickamauga; brother and sister-in-law, Osco and (Debbie) Williams, Jr. of Flintstone; two grandsons, Joshua “Colton” Shields and Thomas Miller Dodd; loved one, Bonnie Williams and mother of niece, Lisa Ackerman; nephew, Bryan Williams; great-niece, Taylor Ackerman and numerous friends and church family.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 7, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Reverend Kenneth Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will begin receiving friends after 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, and prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
