Willie Mae James, 91, of Chattanooga,Tennessee, died on May 5, 2012 at a local hospital.
She was a member of First Church of The Nazarene and has been living in the Chattanooga area since 1964. She ushered at the Memorial Auditorium and the Tivoli Theater for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Laden James, two sisters, and three brothers.
Surviving relatives; son, Carl (Betty) James of Cagle Mtn.,Tn. daughters, Freida (Doyle) Pope of Chattanooga, Linda (James) Germ of Hixson; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 7, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Eric Johnson, Reverend John Andrus, Reverend Ray Marler officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael James, Harold Douglas James,Timothy James, Jim Germ, John Paynter, Kenneth Cowan. The interment will follow in Gilliam Cemetery.
