Baylor Soccer Team Wins Final Region Soccer Match

The Baylor boys soccer team defeated visiting Father Ryan, 4-1, Saturday in a D-II Middle/East Region match.  The victory by Baylor secures the second seed going into the region tournament which means the Red Raiders have a first round bye. 

Ramsey Seagle opened the Baylor scoring  with a breakaway goal in the 23rd minute.

Baylor made it 2-0 four minutes later on a goal by Rodrigo Alonso off a corner kick by Ramsey Seagle.

In the second half, Seagle scored off another break away with an assist from Philip Leeger.

O.T. Bah scored at the 62nd minute to go up 4-0.

Father Ryan scored off a cross that was an own goal to make it 4-1.

"I thought we played with a lot of strength and courage today,"  Baylor head coach Curtis Blair said.  "This was a huge game for us and we responded very well."

Christian Pineda Signs With Dalton State
