Retired From Combustion; Served On Fort Oglethorpe City Council

Charles Edward “Jim” Hall, 83, of Fort Oglethorpe, died on Saturday, May 5, 2012 in a local health care facility.

Mr. Hall was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a member of Clearview Baptist Church. Jim retired from Combustion with 40 years of service and had served on the Ft. Oglethorpe City Council.  

He was the son of the late Claude and Lillian Hall.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Maxine Hall, two sons, Michael A. Hall, David (Debra) Hall, Rome, Ga.; two daughters, Carolyn V. Grasham, Jacksonville, FL; Rebecca (Gary) Griffin, Chickamauga;  five grandchildren, Angie Stephenson, Jennifer Mount, Corey Griffin, Jessica Hall and Jacklyn Hall, nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Lee Byrd officiating.
