2 Charged In Case In Which Teen Is Shot In Shoulder On South Market Street

Two people have been charged in the case in which a teen was shot in the shoulder at 2600 Market Street on Saturday night.

Kenneth Trammell, 5'9" and 150 pounds with dreadlocks, is facing warrants for attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and unlawful use of a firearm.

A black male juvenile was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center for the same charges.

At 7:49 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a shots fired call, Upon arrival officers found a juvenile male with a gunshot wound. He was transported the Erlanger Hospital for non-life threating injuries.

Police said the suspects involved left the scene. Police said no one else was injured.


Suspect Sought In Shooting On Nautical Way

A suspect is being sought in a shooting that happened Friday afternoon. At 3:20 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting that occurred in the 7700 block of Nautical Way.  It was reported that the victim, Cantrell Goodloe, 33, was involved in an altercation,when shots were fired and he was struck.
