Officials said, "The beauty of Tennessee’s rich, rolling mountains and its deep, relaxing rivers inspired the renovations and the new services, such as a Walk in the River, Mountain Mud Masque and Massage, and Ruby Falls Hydrating Body Treatment. The Spa at The Chattanoogan is a place that will delight and impress visitors, with its fresh, natural look, soothing earthtones and natural décor elements that have been enhanced with upscale finishes.   All treatment areas have been transformed, and the relaxation area has been upgraded with the addition of several comfortable seating arrangements and a 30-foot light wall that adds ambiance and fuses modern style with natural mood lighting."

At The Spa at The Chattanoogan, highly skilled therapists specialize in customizing nurturing spa treatments for guests using the finest botanical ingredients designed to strengthen and rejuvenate the skin. Located on the second floor of the beautifully designed The Chattanoogan, The Spa has four treatment rooms, a steam room, sauna, whirlpool, indoor pool, fitness center and Spa Terrace. Guests may relax on the Spa Terrace with a complimentary drink either before or after a spa treatment or choose to enjoy a delicious lunch there.  The Spa also has a gift boutique with carefully selected products that feature all natural ingredients.

During the year, The Spa at The Chattanoogan will highlight various services and treatments that are custom designed for the season.  In June and July, The Spa is offering a Refreshing Lemon Verbena Ritual that is designed to refresh and rejuvenate the body.  The naturally stress relieving and detoxifying treatment will leave guests feeling rejuvenated from head to toe.   The 50-minute service begins with a relaxing Flowing River Massage that is complemented by a detoxifying bodyexfoliation and finished with a refreshing Organic Lemon Verbena foot treatment.
