212 Market Restaurant will offer live music, bison appetizer samples, and the opportunity to learn how to make 212 Market’s bison springrolls on Tuesday. A selection of half-price wines by the bottle and by the glass will be available, and Burton Brown of Eagles Rest Ranch will be on hand to answer any questions about bison (buffalo) ranching.
Mr. Brown raises bison, plus Angus and longhorn cattle, at Eagles Rest Ranch, 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga in Flintstone. The ranch is also home to a SpiritHorse therapeutic riding program for children and adults with mental and physical disabilities and hosts RSNC ranch sorting events and an annual Special Olympics horse show.
This is the third in a series of monthly “Meet the Farmer” events at 212 Market. The restaurant features locally-sourced foods on its seasonal and daily menus and is proud to introduce its suppliers to the public.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and is free of charge. For more information, visit 212market.com.
