Multiple bluegrass gospel award nominee the Watkins Family will appear at Sacred Sounds Fridays, on July 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ringgold Depot, at the corner of Depot Street and U.S. 41 in Ringgold, for the Share America Foundation. 

Also appearing will be teenage bluegrass band Mountain Cove Bluegrass. Randall Franks from TV's "In the Heat of the Night” will emcee. 

The event is a fundraiser for the Pearl and Floyd Franks Scholarship Fund helping musicians achieve higher education. Donations for tickets are adults: $5, children five and under are free with an adult.

Tickets may be purchased locally in advance during business hours at SonShine Christian Books, 706 861-7675 in Fort Oglethorpe.

Pro-Rodeo In Cleveland Is Friday, Saturday

Three people have been charged in Raleigh, N.C., with the murder last week of a 30-year-old woman, who had just moved from Cleveland, Tn.
