Bruce D. Renner, 65, of Cleveland, Tn., died Thursday, June 14, 2012 in a Chattanooga hospital.

He was a member of Mount Olive Ministries. He was the owner and broker of Renner Realty. He was a member of the Cleveland Board of Realtors where he served as past president and was Realtor of the Year. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He was a member of Cleveland Elks Club and was Tennessee Republican of the Year. He also served as a director on the Board of the Ocoee Utility District for 23 years. He was a former board member of the Bradley County Nursing Home and was currently serving on the City of Cleveland Zoning Appeals Board. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Renner was the son of the late Paul and Margaret Still Renner. 

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Della Renner of Cleveland; son, Robert “Rob” Renner and wife, Anne of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Bruce Renner and Jack Frost Renner both of Cleveland; two brothers, Paul D. Renner, Jr. and wife Brenda of Charleston and Sam Renner and wife Judy of Cleveland; three nephews, Richard Renner, Chris Renner and Trevor Renner; four nieces, Kim Sisko, Robin Ford, Michaela Bowling and Amy Hendricks; two uncles, Robert K. Still and David Renner; four aunts, Frances McConnell, Betty Elmore, Mary Lou Gorman and Nancy Danford; special friends, August and Ute Krug; and extended family Bianca and Gunnar Krug and Chuck Shepherd.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Mount Olive Ministries with Pastor Gary Sears officiating. 

His family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, June 16 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Mount Olive Ministries for Community Care, 3522 Harrison Pike, Cleveland, TN 37311
