Dorothy Vivereite Rucker, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Friday, June 15, 2012.
She was a long time resident of Longwood, Fla., and had also lived in Ormond Beach, Fla., before moving to the Chattanooga area.
Dorothy was a member of the Moose Lodge 766, a former member of Rolling Hills Golf Club in Longwood, and an accomplished musician and ballroom dancer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace D. Rucker.
Survivors include her son, John (Theresa) Rucker, of Ormond Beach, daughter, Jeanne (Barry) Anthony, of Chattanooga, four grandchildren, Chrissy (Jason) Schwiegerath, of Charlotte, N.C., Curtis Anthony, of Chattanooga, Kimberly Anthony, of Knoxville, John Rucker, Jr., and three great grandchildren, Carter, Jack and Dylan Schwiegerath.
A private memorial service will be held by the family.
