Dennis Murl Snyder, 61, of Apison, Tennessee, died on Thursday, June 14, 2012.  

He had lived in the Chattanooga area for most of his life and was employed with Qualls Masonry for more than 20 years.  

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and loved sports, was an avid Vols fan and Jeff Gordon fan.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard & Hazel Snyder.

Survivors include his three children, Donna Groce of Fort Oglethorpe, Dennis Snyder, Jr. of Dalton, and Kimberly Snyder of Chattanooga; brother, Dewey “Buddy” Snyder of Apison; three sisters, Joyce Davis of Apison, Velma Rogers of Fort Oglethorpe, and Wanda Floyd of Rossville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; best friend, Mitchell Qualls and several nieces and nephews.
 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 18, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel. The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. on Saturday, all day Sunday and prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes, Fort Oglethorpe.

Doris Davis Lynch, 92, of Dalton, GA, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Quinton Memorial Health Care Center.
