John William Griffin, 83, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Friday, June 8, 2012, at his residence.
He was the son of the late John and Bernice Griffin and was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori, sister, Francis Wilson and niece, Kenni Wilson.
John worked as a truck driver in Hollywood Florida before moving to Chattanooga several years ago.
He was especially fond of his dog Perdita who passed away a few weeks ago.
Survivors include his two daughters, Bernice (Darren) Delaney, of Chattanooga, Shelly and family, granddaughters, Mallary and Caitlyn, brother, Pat Griffin, of Lakeland, Fla., sister, Ilene Bunker, of Toledo, Oh., niece, Suzi Wilson, of Forida, and nephews, Bobby Wilson, of Florida, and Mike Wilson, of Bristol, Tn.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
