Mary Frances Sherrill, 76, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, died on June 14, 2012.
A native of Chattanooga, Mrs. Sherrill was born on August 1, 1935 the daughter of the late Charles Lee and Nellie Gertrude Tudor Martin. Mrs. Sherrill was a member of the Assembly of God faith and an avid bowler.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Mark Thomas Sherrill in April, 2012.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Roy D. Sherrill. two sons, Ricky (Peggy) Sherrill of Sarasota, Fla., and Robert Allen Sherrill of Chattanooga; daughters, Pamela (Dan) Buck of Palmetto, Fla., and Kim (Patrick) Kaliher of Loganville, Ga.; sister; Mrs. Patricia Ferguson of Florida; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren along with a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services for Mrs. Sherrill will be conducted on Monday, June 18, at 10 a.m. from the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Christopher King officiating.
Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
