Two men are facing statutory rape charges after a 14-year-old girl said she had sex with them after meeting one of them over the Internet.
Charged are Ronald Labron White, 21, of 3316 Delong St., and Keenan Jamal Benford, 19, of 3608 Missionaire Ave.
The girl said she met White on the Badoo website. She said they talked a little bit and, when she went to a friend's house in Glenwood to babysit, she invited him and his friend, Benford, over.
She said they went into the bedroom and had sex.
The girl admitted she lied about her age.
She pulled up her Badoo account and showed a detective a conversation between her and White. They talked about having sex and a possible sexually transmitted disease.
The detective said White called him and agreed to come in and give a statement, but he never showed up.
He said Benford admitted having sex with the girl.
