Andrew Preston “Andy” Rich, 64, formerly of Ringgold and the Lakeview Community of Rossville, died on Thursday, June 14, 2012 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Andy was born in Marion County, and attended Tyner High School.  Following his service in the U.S. Army, he began driving trucks and retired from Volunteer Express Freight following many years of service.  Andy was a muscle car enthusiast and took pride in the raising of his grandchild.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Marion M. Rich, parents, Phillip and Christine Straub, brother, Johnny Rich, sisters, Imogene Rich, Brenda Rich, and Ramona Chambers.

Survivors include his wife, Suzan Leanne Rich; children, Emily Suzanne Rich and Phillip Scott Rich; grandchild, Andrew Mark Feeley; brothers, Marion Rich, Jr., and Terry Chambers; sisters, Mary Catherine Rich, Wanda Akin, Pamela Farris, Phyllis Adams, and Susan Cohen; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 20, at 12:30 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Vernon Windom officiating. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
