Mastrangelo, Louise C. "Lou Lou" Infante

Louise "Lou Lou" C.(Infante)  Mastrangelo,85, died while residing at The Consulate Healthcare Facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she was a resident since 2004. 

The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to the staff at Consulate who took wonderful care of her and we know they will miss her smiles and sweet spirit.

She was a born in Hartford, Ct., and was a lifelong resident of Connecticut, living in Hartford, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield. She was a saleswoman at G. Fox & Co. in Hartford, Ct., before she married her beloved husband of 59 years and then remained a loving mother and homemaker of two children.

Upon their retirement, they moved to Davenport, Fla., until 2002, and then moved to Chattanooga.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, a daughter and eight siblings.

She is survived by her husband, George Mastrangelo, son Steven Mastrangelo, daughter and son-in law Sandra and AI Wilsey, three grandchildren, Jess, lack and Charlotte, one great-grandson, Tristan and many nieces and nephews.

In her memory, donations can be made to your local Alzheimer's Association.

Memorial services will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, at the Wilsey residence, 4113 Sunbury Ave., Chattanooga.

Dog Fighting Operation Uncovered On Talledega Avenue

TBI was executing a narcotics search warrant at 6302Talladega Ave. in Chattanooga on Friday and uncovered a dog fighting operation. City May Move Forward On $47 Million Wilcox Tunnel Project

City officials may move forward on a $47 million project to upgrade the narrow Wilcox Tunnel through Missionary Ridge. The City Council on Tuesday is to consider a resolution to apply for a $25 million federal TIGER grant. The city would still have to come up with $21,825,000 through "local funds or grants."
