Moynihan, Annie Irene Vaughn (Cleveland)

Annie Irene Vaughn Moynihan, 64, of Cleveland, Tn., died Saturday, June 16, 2012 in a local hospital.

She was preceded in death by her step-son, Mark Moynihan; her mother, Ruby Boring Vaughn; and her brother, James Gary Vaughn.

Annie enjoyed traveling to the mountains with her husband and she was a member of the Freedom Worship Church.

Survivors include her husband, John Moynihan of Cleveland; her step-daughters, Darlene Moynihan of Jacksonville, Fla., Janet Flint and her husband Bill of Leesburg, Fla. and Shannon Caplinger of Jacksonville, Fla.; her step-son, Stewart Moynihan and his wife Katherine of Georgetown; 11 step- grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; her father, James Wesley Vaughn and his wife Beulah of Cleveland; her step-sisters, Phyllis Murray, Deborah Farris and her husband Fletcher, Janie Osborne and her husband Jason all of Cleveland; her step-brothers, Lamar Gates and his wife Irene; Annie’s special friend, Mike Gates all of Cleveland; another special friend, Phyllis Wilson of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Wednesday, June 20 at 2 p.m. from the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Reverend Jessie Millsaps and Reverend George Pierce officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 at the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who has charge of the arrangements.
