A burglary to a residence on Old Charleston Road was cleared when detectives for the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office filed charges on Mark Anthony Rymer.
As the investigation progressed, active investigations in the city of Cleveland and McMinn County were included and both have been cleared.
The original investigation involved the theft of an engine stand, transmission and various tools from Old Charleston Road on June 8. As detectives interviewed individuals connected to the investigation, the same individual was developed as a suspect in a burglary in the city of Cleveland where the loss was in access of $10,000 and the theft of a trailer and zero-turn lawn mower in McMinn County.
Rymer, 37, lives on Old Charleston Road, and is charged in Bradley County with aggravated burglary, theft over $500, theft of property over $10,000 and failing to appear in court on a prior theft charge.
Rymer will be held at the Bradley County jail for charges in McMinn County.
Detectives have been able to recover some of the stolen property.
