Randall Smith Luedke, 58, of Fort Oglethorpe, died on Friday, June 15, 2012 in a local hospital.  

Randall was a resident of the Chattanooga North Georgia area for over 40 years.  He loved God as a member of the Christian faith. He enjoyed playing basketball, Fantasy baseball, and cheering for the New York Yankees and Chicago Bears.  Randall also had a deep love for music and books, which was reflected in the store he and Beth owned and operated, At Rainbow’s End.  

He was preceded in death by the following members of his family: Sallie Jones, his grandmother, Cleo Smith, Rudy Luedke, and Rudolph “Lucky” and Bessie Luedke.

Survivors are his wife of 32 years, Beth Luedke, daughters, Jennifer and her husband Bryan Allen, Chattanooga, Brianna and her husband, Shawn Meginley, Alpharetta, sons, Ryan Luedke, Macon, Benjamin and his wife Jessie, Terre Haute, In., Cameron and his wife Cathy, Port St. Lucie, Fla., and grandchildren, Michaela Allen, Maddy, Dylan, Heidi, Sarah, and Tristan Luedke.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, in the funeral home chapel with Minister Al Rufenacht officiating.
