Rosie Lee Hudson, 101, of Cleveland, Tn., died Thursday, May 31, 2012 in a local hospital. 

She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Dora Davis; husband, William “Bill” Hudson; and son, Billy Don Hudson.

She is survived by her daughter, Frances Hudson Climer of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Toney Hudson of St. Cloud, Fla., Dennis and Dorothy Owen of California, Glenn and Sher Williams of Lake City, Fla. and Harolene “Holly” and Glen Banks of Harrison; ten great-grandchildren, including Jenny Anzures of St. Cloud, Fla.; four great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 4, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Richard McKeehan officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with Glenn Banks, Bill Watson, Jeff Hall, Toney Hudson, Donnie Wilson and Robert Banks serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. 

Her family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Monday, June 4 at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.

Valetta Jean Heuser, 93, of Rock Spring, died on Monday, May 20, 2013 in a local hospital. Hayden Lamar Lasley, 60, of Hixson, died on Monday, May 20, 2013.   He was a longtime area girls softball coach for more than 35 years.
