Burglary Victim Found Missing Items At McKays

Police said a burglary victim helped solve her case by finding some of her missing items at McKay's Used Books on Lee Highway.

Auburn Cole Christopher, 18, of Lasata Lane in Harrison, is facing charges of theft of property over $1,000 and aggravated burglary.

Police said a case involving Chaz Torbush would be handled in Juvenile Court.

Misty Henley said numerous items were taken from her home in addition to those found at McKays.

Detectives were told by officials at McKay's that Chaz Torbush had sold the items belonging to Ms. Henley. He was paid $213.23 and Christopher received $48.05. McKay's has video of them at the store with the items. 

Police said they went to the home of Torbush on Mulberry Lane in Ooltewah and he admitted to the burglary.

He showed where additional items taken from Ms. Henley were located. These included four long guns, a Playstation 3, a Wii 2, a Playstation 2, headphones, watches and a large amount of jewelry.
