Miss Chattanooga Is Miss Tennessee

Chandler Lawson became the first Miss Chattanooga in 64 years to win the Miss Tennessee Pageant on Saturday night winning a $13,000 scholarship and becoming the state's representative at the 2013 Miss America Pageant in January. 

Miss Lawson, 22, will defer entrance to the University of Tennessee School of Law in becoming the state's spokesperson for Character Education and a goodwill ambassador for Children's Miracle Network. 

The Tullahoma native won Friday's talent preliminary singing Adele's "Turning Tables" and the Miss America Organization Community Service Award. 

Miss Lawson was last year's first-runner up and was the 2008 Tennessee Junior Miss.

Her Court of Honor consists of from left, 3rd Runner-Up Miss UT Knoxville Morgan Moore, 1st Runner-Up Miss Capital City Kristen Mosley, 3rd Runner-Up Miss Bristol Amy Flynn and 4th Runner-Up Miss Scenic City Kyndall Covington.  Miss Metropolitan Ashley Sizemore was a top 10 finalist and Miss Mountain Lakes Madyson Foster of Cleveland was a top 15 finalist.

Shakespeare Chattanooga Presents All’s Well That Ends Well
