Virginia Routh Dycus, 92 of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Sunday, June 24, 2012. 

She was born in Chattanooga, to the late John Wylie and Alma Lucile Routh Taliaferro. Virginia worked for Lee Routh’s and Zumstiens Department Stores for 30 years. She attended Ringgold First Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elisha David “Dyke” Dycus, sister, Dorothy Alexander, and sons-in-law, Tom Clark and Preacher Jim Cordell.
 
Survivors include her children, Linda Clark of Ringgold, Wanda Cordell of LaFayette, John David (Diane) Dycus, Don Lee (Vickie) Dycus all of Ringgold, sisters, Margaret Kinnamon, Jean Breeden both of Dalton, 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
 

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, in the Ringgold Chapel with Reverend Jim Bailiff officiating. Interment will follow in Anderson Memorial Gardens. 

Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, June 25, and prior to the service on Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Woman Found Dead On Lovell Road; Police Looking For Terry Releford

A woman was found dead on Sunday morning at 8912 Lovell Road, and police are seeking a "person of interest" in the case.
