Police have charged a woman with breaking into her ex-boyfriend's home while he was in jail and stealing items that she then pawned.
Janie Adams, 40, of 601 Washington St., Rossville, is charged with theft over $500 and aggravated burglary.
Andrew Allen III said he was jailed after being served with a search warrant. He said while in jail he learned that Ms. Adams had climbed his rear fence and entered his residence around March 24.
He said items taken included an XBox 360, a Sony Playstation 3 and approximately 60-65 DVDs and video games.
Police said the items were sold by Ms. Adams to EZ Pawn at 3601 Rossville Blvd.
A detective said Ms.
Adams admitted climbing the fence and breaking into the house. She also admitted taking a phone that had also been reported stolen.
