A Soddy Daisy man has been arrested on grounds he threatened a man who was visiting a woman in Hixson.

Dennis Craig Drake, 47, of 2527 Big Cedar Road, is charged with aggravated burglary and aggravated assault.

Donald Ty Bush said he was visiting Karen Wheeler on Saylor Trail when a middle-aged white male walked in from the garage holding a hammer. He said the man approached him, saying, "Leave or I'll bash your skull in."

He said he went to the garage to get his motorcycle to leave while the man with the hammer followed him. He said he then went to a convenience store nearby and called police.

Ms. Wheeler said Drake is one of her former boyfriends.

She said he took off out of the backdoor after Mr.

Bush left.

Mr. Bush said he and Ms. Wheeler were sitting at a table talking when the man with the hammer appeared in the house.
